Why We're Different
Many homeless people face multiple barriers to accessing accommodation.
First and foremost, GMHP will look to provide the right homes, in the right places, at the right times. But we’ll also offer flexible, local, long-term support to those we work with – recognising that different people might need different support at different times to meet their particular needs. Each individual will have a dedicated contact worker, who will help them access services and opportunities they might not otherwise be able to access.
The flexibility of our programme means we can try out new and different approaches to tackling long-term homelessness. This will not only benefit those we work with; it can also inform how we as a society deliver services to these vulnerable people in the future.
